I’ve been rushed to the ER over 30 times for a life-threatening peanut allergy, so trust me when I say peanuts aren’t cute. Yet peanut butter is still the go-to enrichment treat for dogs, even though peer-reviewed studies show peanuts are inflammatory, omega-6 heavy, and commonly contaminated with aflatoxins and mycotoxins (yep, class-1 carcinogens).
